Elite '2020. I heard a rumor that they are going to open on in Dallas(where I'm currently located) soon. They also do a good job of crowd control, letting in just enough customers so the multiple ordering stations at the bar never get more than three parties deep. I just saw they are bringing the HH back so I will be their soon, and they are like a 45 min drive from me no traffic!

Loro fulfills cool environment and good parking. The two adult frozen slushy's on the menu were a Mango Sake and a Gin& Tonic. The turkey sausage was lacking flavor and not my favorite papaya salad. I loved the trendy indoor decor and outdoor swings. Wished we lived in Austin. You order inside and they'll bring the food out to you. In true barbecue-joint fashion, there’s no assigned seating. Tubes, induced coma, the whole shebang. Happy hour during COVID! First of all, service was so great. We also had the frozen gin and tonic, Wow. We were visiting Austin and this was one of our stops my husband found. Loro has produced a new and surprisingly populist concept to Austin. Beyond expectation! The mango drink and the Vietnamese coffee really hit the spot.

I could get used to this is!After reading these yelp reviews, I realize I probably should go for their happy hour instead of going at the normal times like I did. We came on a Friday evening for dinner around 6PM and it was packed. The silken texture of the Malaysian bossam was spot-on but seemed out of place on the menu. Funny. The bavette gives the brisket some serious competition. This place was highly recommended to us and glad we checked it out. Such an interesting concept, and such a nice atmosphere. We spilt all the appetizers on happy hour and the corn fritters, Wow. for appetizer, I would suggest trying the fried corn bites which were so flavorful and delicious...Finally made it to Loro!!

I love that it starts at 2 PM. We sat inside because we were in the middle of a heat wave. It's a combination of smokehouse, Asian fusion, and cocktail bar. We had the mango sake slushee and Thai watermelon punch. Loro is my go-to spot for amazing food, great drinks, and relaxation. Look, I get it: It’s Texas, it’s hot, and it’s the outdoors. You order at the bar and get a number and a VERY attentive wait staff (they were INCREDIBLE) brings you the food, takes away your dishes (the millisecond you finish)....Very good food.
