Eligible candidates are landscape architecture, horticulture, or irrigation science students in their final two years of undergraduate study. In the future, Perez hopes to become a college professor and pursue research goals related to landscape architecture. Our scholarship program is growing rapidly. The Peter Klynstra Memorial Scholarship, established in collaboration with the Atlantic Provinces Association of Landscape Architects (APALA), was created to honour practitioner and teacher Peter Klynstra, and his significant contributions in the field of landscape architecture. Perez loves exploring new landscapes, going to concerts with their friends, and taking care of all their plants. With a total of 17 Scholarships currently housed under the LACF banner, the Foundation is aiming to increase awards from $15,000 to $25,000 annually for national and regional scholarships combined. These awards recognize leadership, reward superior student performance, support access and diversity, and assist students with unmet financial need.Today, some 5,300 students are enrolled in landscape architecture programs.
