Perth has failed to break into the top 10 most liveable cities in the world, maintaining its number 14 ranking for the second year in a row.The Economist Intelligence Unit’s latest Global Liveability Report found Perth was the 14th most liveable city in the world this year - a spot it was first given in 2018 after dropping seven spots and out of the top 10.The survey revealed Vienna, the capital city of Austria, was the most liveable city in the world, which snagged the top spot from Melbourne for the second year in a row.Rounding out the top five were Sydney, Osaka in Japan and Calgary in Canada.Perth tied with Geneva in Switzerland for its number 14 ranking, scoring an overall liveability rating of 95.9 out of 100.The WA capital achieved a maximum score of 100 for ‘Healthcare’, ‘Education’ and ‘Infrastructure’ and a 95 for ‘Stability’.
