Best to come here right at 5 Pm to get a reservation as this place gets packed. It's worth it. I would have never known about it if my local-friend did not inform me.

They offer a variety of rotating signature cocktails on a set of upstairs for our turn to enter this bar, and I think it was worth it!

Very intimate setting with unique ambiance. When someone left, they would text you and you had five minutes to come back. I think I could spend same amount for three people in Kingston Mines in cover + uber there and we would've had a blast. The Drifter! Log In. The Drifter was my choice for this trip. Located under the green door tavern, it is a cozy & intimate space with a relaxed ambience. The drinks are pretty good, not the best but good enough to comeback. In one side there was a guest who was visually uncomfortable to be sharing this tiny space with two other girls instead of one and on the other side there was....well....a trash can.

lol Secretly find beneath the depths of the Green Door Tavern (I assure you, its a far cry from its upstairs neighbor) and the actual entry looks like an old spice rack housing antique trinkets. I had been hearing great things…" Walking down the stairs, I heard the sounds of laughter and merriment, but to my great confusion, I saw no people!

Their cocktail…

It's really small, so it makes sense that you're not able to enter until someone leaves their seats.

Played awesome movies on the projector screen! This is actually a speakeasy, HOW COOL IS THAT? But what really set this place apart from other speakeasies was the service. Our drink menu was given to us in the form of tarot cards, which is quite possibly the coolest menu I have ever seen. I was having a beer at the Green Door Tavern and got up to go to the restroom. But the drinks were great. I guess you will just have to get back to Chicago really soon!

Love the atmosphere & entertainment.

The hookahs are…" Some of the cocktails are presented on tarot cards and there's also a paper menu.

My husband ordered a second & he's a Dirty Martini Snob. We were there on a Tuesday night which we now know is their Sirens & psychos night.Had a good time until I lost a couple of personal items at the table.

After all my research, Drifter seemed to be the "best bet" in Chicago for burlesque. We loved the tarot card drink menu, in particular the Bye Felicia and Suns Out Guns Out, and the try your luck option for $10 where you pick a fortune cookie and risk getting a shot of melort - or a cocktail.
