Having grown up on Superman, I feel cheated!!! However, neither director was able to erase what 9 out of 12 found this helpful. One of my favorite lines from Lester's version is completely excised from Donner's version: "General, would you care to step outside?" [ citation needed ] This version of the film features the re-insertion of Marlon Brando's scenes as Jor-El, and relies on a minimum of footage shot by Richard Lester. though I already felt there "Restoring the Vision" featurette. Which these powerful villains wants to rule the world.
