Red Arrow Park lies adjacent to Lake Michigan. That was before the iron grate was placed over the entrance to foil stupid kids like us. Even with high lake levels there is still a beach here. It is about 7 and a quarter acres with about another 20 acres in a conservancy that runs down the south beach below some impressive bluffs. The conservancy area consists of a narrow strip of land running south approximately 2,800 feet along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Reservations for rental facilities, such as the concession stand or open air shelter, may be booked online, by telephone with a credit card, or in person no earlier than one year (365 days) in advance of the date to be rented. This is my favorite beach in Manitowoc.
