The parade kicks off at 6 p.m. at the intersection of Convention Center Blvd. It includes 16 floats, nine marching bands and a whole lot of guys dressed in tuxedos.The annual Metairie Road St. Patrick's Day parade will take place at noon in front of Rummel High School on Severn Avenue, goes down Severn to Metairie Road, then Metairie Road to the parish line.This block party takes place on St. Patrick's Day and is located at The Louisiana Irish-Italian Parade will roll at 12:00 noon, on the traditional Veterans Highway route in Metairie.The St. Bernard Irish Italian Islenos Community Parade is one of the largest events in nearby St. Bernard parish.

The parade makes several "pit stops" on its way to Bourbon St. The 76th annual Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day parade rolls along Magazine Street through the Irish Channel and on to St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans, La., Saturday, March 16, 2019. Celebrating our Irish heritage throughout each and every year since 1976, the Downtown Irish Club maintains that "everyone is Irish for a day", making our membership rich and diverse. The parade follows Noon Mass at St. Mary's Assumption Church and is returning to a previous route following the completion of road construction on Louisiana Ave. The shenanigans begin on the corner of Burgundy and Piety streets in the Bywater at 6 p.m. See parade route. 2018 brings anew route with the parade begining on the corner of Napoleon Ave. and Tchoupitoulas St around 1:30pm (or a little earlier, depending when mass ends). With parade stops on Royal, Frenchmen, and Decatur, come out and enjoy the festivities that surround St Patrick's Day.
